Recently, we posted about our search for new contributors to our site. We want to keep things fresh, offer different perspectives, and bring different elements of hip hop to the site. We were blessed enough to find 3 people who are going to help us do just that. Let's meet and welcome our newest ICTHIPHOP writers:

Revolt

What's up ICTHIPHOP!! My name is REVOLT. I am not only a fan but an active participant in the hip hop movement here in the mid-west. I currently teach one of three classes in the U.S. on graffiti/street art ( New York and Philadelphia are home to the other 2 classes) every Saturday at Blank Page 917 W. Douglas. My lust for spray painting began back in 1992 (I was 11) when I stole my first can of paint and painted my first wall. The rush of adrenaline and the ability to speak my mind without any criticism or critic was like pure untapped freedom. This is when the addiction began and now 18 years later, no matter how many gallery shows I do and no matter how many paintings I sell you will always find me hit'n the streets and train yards.

Currently, I am a follower of the Temple of Hip Hop. The Temple was founded by KRS ONE back in 1996 and teaches the history of the 9 elements (1.Break dancing 2. Rapping 3. Graffiti art 4. DJing 5. Beatboxing 6. Street fashion 7. Street Language 8. Street Knowledge 9.Street Entrepreneurship) and how the fundamentals of hip hop can improve your life and the lives of those around you. I am a part of the BUCKHEAD crew.... BUCKHEAD NUFF SAID! Most of all I really look forward to taken y'all to school a bit on the history of graffiti and showing you the hidden jewels the mid-west has to offer in terms of our artists and our culture.

D.U.B.B. Diesel

Wats good? For those who don’t know me my name is D.U.B.B. Diesel. I was born in Kansas but have traveled and lived all over the united states east to west but I rep the dub everywhere I go I’m smack dab in the middle baby. I have a very serious addition for new music and have immersed myself in music for most part of my life and love it to death, I have dibble and dabbled in area of promotion, artist development, sales and is looking forward to being educated in entertainment business, I feel like music is one of the most powerful things ever created and it has already falling in to the hands of evil doers lol.

I’m here to speak on the things that might not be discussed in your everyday hip hop or music discussion and share with you the things that I have seen witnessed and observe and researched about the music industry all the way up to the pros all the way down the local artists underground basement, whether it be good or bad right or wrong in the hopes it will help readers excel in whatever it is that your are trying to do in life or music. -Ya Boy D.U.B.B.
